Time moves forward, but the way we experience it can be uniquely personal. At atelierDSGN, every clock is more than just a timekeeper – it’s a functional piece of art that brings clarity, character, and calm to any space.

My name is Jaroslav Jerhot, and my journey with clocks began at the intersection of logic and aesthetics. I studied mathematics and interior design – two disciplines that might seem worlds apart, yet both demand precision, creativity, and deep attention to detail. After years of working with space and structure, I was drawn to the idea of designing everyday objects that would not only serve a purpose but also bring quiet joy to people’s lives. That’s how the first atelierDSGN clock came to life.

A Rough Beginning – and a Lasting Vision

Starting out wasn’t easy. Designing, prototyping, sourcing materials – everything took longer and cost more than I had imagined. But I believed in the idea: that a clock can be useful, beautiful, and timeless – in both senses of the word.

I’ve always been driven by a love of creating things that last. Not just in terms of materials, but in emotional value – items that people will take with them from one home to the next, from one chapter of life to another.

And today, nothing makes me prouder than knowing my clocks are hanging in living rooms, offices, kitchens, studios – even reception areas – all over the world.
